Caroline was referred to us by another one of our brides from last year. (Can we just say referrals are the BEST!) She came into the studio with pictures in hand, a lot of pictures. Her mind was spinning with ideas for her May wedding being held at Historic Londontown and Gardens in Edgewater, MD. During our appointment we went over what she expected, what her vision was, and what she liked about each picture. She wanted a very classy, fresh, organic feel to match her vintage vibe.
By using flowers in season during May such as peonies, veronica, lissianthus, and hasta leaves we were able to create a garden feel. We added fresh herbs like rosemary, mint and thyme to give her the organic feel she loved and let’s not forget the smell!
Fast forward to wedding day…May 9th, 2015, delivery that morning to the Lowes Hotel in Annapolis. On wedding days I always replay my initial meetings with the brides in my head. Until flowers are delivered I always hope our visions were the same and if I brought their dreams to life. I always want to make my clients happy and always wait for their reaction. It’s the most rewarding part for me as a designer. Caroline’s’ reaction will forever be one of those I will never forget! Happy tears came to both of us. Something that’s never happened to me. We had given her exactly what she envisioned! She made one classy, elegant bride. The photographer is Anna Reynal and I think their photos show just how happy and in love Caroline and Michael are. We wish you both much love and happiness as your love continues to bloom.
